Argolis Full Day Tour takes you to see some of the most famous historic monuments of the Peloponnese. We will drive you along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, where we will have a short stop for pictures.
Right after that, following the Argolis Tour, we will drive you to Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atreides, the “rich in gold” city of the ancient poets.
Visit the imposing Lion’s Gate, the gigantic Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs e.t.c., where you will be impressed of the power and the will of these people who managed to create these miracles without the technological amenities we have today.
In Mycenae we will have lunch and we will then depart for Nafplion through the rich plains of Argolis. The scenic town of Nafplion is located at the foot of a cliff, crowned by the colossal fortifications of the Palamidi Fortress. After a short shop for photos, we will leave for Epidauros to visit the ancient Theatre (4th century B.C.) famous for its astounding acoustics.
Full of great new experiences, we will return to Athens following the National road connecting Epidauros with Corinth.
