Pyrgos Village

Pyrgos Village can be found at Santorini’s highest point offering panoramic view of the whole island. On its hilltop you will see the ruins of Kasteli Castle one of the island’s five ‘kastelia’.

Akrotiri Archaeological site

When is Santorini, one should by no means miss a guided visit to the archaeological site of Akrotiri (with professional licensed Guide). Akrotiri is one of Greece’s most important prehistoric settlements of the Bronze Age. It was destroyed by a huge eruption during the 17^th century BC when it was buried under the volcanic ash. It was this ash that preserved the whole city in perfect conditions until it was excavated in 1967 and this is why Akrotiri is often referred to as “Prehistoric Pompei”. It has been suggested that the settlement has been a possible inspiration for Plato‘s story of Atlantis. Entrance Fees are not included in the price.

Santorini is famous for its quality local wines. During this part of the tour you will be able to see the whole wine-making process, from the moment of the grape-pressing up to the bottling. Taste the distinctive wines of the island and learn about the unique-in-the-world Santorini vineyard!
